Dragon 55 is a jet sled burial machine, able to bury submarine cables to a depth of 5.5m below seabed. The built-in jet nozzles are able to emulsify the soft materials of the seabed.

The sled is equipped with a built-in surface computer monitoring system to monitor the subsea information, such as the sled position, water depth, and roll & pitch angles etc.

All information can be transmitted to the control room of the cable lay barge for real-time monitoring.
